Rhythm of War is the fourth entry in the massive epic fantasy series The Stormlight Archive. As we did with Oathbringer, we’ll be doing part-by-part reviews so you can read along and discuss with us.
Preparing for Rhythm of War
We had a ton of fun doing part-by-part reviews of the third entry in The Stormlight Archive, and we look forward to continuing that tradition this year
October TBR
This month was a good one for both of us. It was the first time in a while that we actually finished a decent number of books (though not necessarily the ones we’d originally planned to read, of course).
Top Ten Tuesday: Authors We’ve Read The Most Books By
We Both have plenty of favorite authors, many of which are shared between the two of us, so putting this list together took little time at all.
July TBR and June Wrap-up
We had a pretty busy June so that resulted in . . . not a lot of reading time. We’re hoping to make up for that in July and making pretty long TBR lists to encourage ourselves! (Because that always works, right?)
March wrap-up and April TBR
I think it’s safe to say that everyone’s March was a bit hectic. Ours was filled with trips, wedding planning, and a decent amount of reading!
Review: Words of Radiance
"Someone has a high opinion of himself. Comes with being royalty, I suppose. Like funny hats and a fondness for beheadings.” ~ Brandon Sanderson, Words of Radiance
Review: The Way of Kings
“The stormwall approached, the visible curtain of rain and wind at the advent of a highstorm. It was a massive wave of water, dirt, and rocks, hundreds of feet high, thousands upon thousands of windspren zipping before it.” ~Brandon Sanderson, The Way of Kings.
Top Ten Tuesday: Books From My Favorite Genre
This one was a bit tricky to decide because we each have our own favorite genres. However, we settled on fantasy.
Review: The Bands of Mourning
“I’m wondering if every person I pass has similar depths, and if there’s any way to avoid the mistake of judging them so shallowly that I’m rocked when they show their true complexity.” ~ Brandon Sanderson, The Bands of Mourning
