We made it through to the warmer weather finally! Last month we missed out on a few picks that we meant to get to but we’re being just as ambitious with our reading plans this month (not sure that it’ll help but here we are).
February TBR
We both started off 2022 with a great bunch of books, and our TBRs for February are just as ambitious!
Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Wish I Could Read Again for the First Time
Reading a favorite book for the first time is such a unique experience. Even years later we tend to remember exactly where and when we were reading the book, even what the air smelled like. This was a fun topic that had us delving into some of those memories again.
Top Ten Tuesday: Animals from Books
This week's topic had us searching through some of our favorite fantasy stories and books we haven't read since we were kids.
Review: Steelheart
“Many of you probably know about that Scar on Steelheart’s cheek. Well, as far as I can determine, I’m the only living person who knows how he got it.” -Brandon Sanderson
March TBR
February was another solid month of reading for us, and March is looking just as ambitious.
Final Rhythm of War Review
“He felt something . . . rumbling. A distant storm. Everything was light around him up here, the sun shining, making it difficult to believe that somewhere it was dark and tempestuous.” ~ Rhythm of War
Rhythm of War: Part Four
“Do you know,” the Fused finally asked, “how Honor was killed?” ~ Brandon Sanderson, Rhythm of War
Rhythm of War: Part Three
The storms rarely reached this high. Today they had. Today, Kaladin reached the winds. And like everything else today, they tried their best to kill him. ~Brandon Sanderson, Rhythm of War
Rhythm of War: Part Two
The sky was black as midnight, only without stars. The sun seemed too distant, too frail to properly lite the place, though he wasn't in darkness. ~Brandon Sanderson, Rhythm of War
