July TBR and June Wrap-up

We had a pretty busy June so that resulted in . . . not a lot of reading time. We’re hoping to make up for that in July and making pretty long TBR lists to encourage ourselves! (Because that always works, right?)

Indiana’s June Wrap-up
So much happened both personally and in the world last month that my reading priorities completely changed.

Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston
The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander
The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett

The Shame
A Little Princess by Francis Hodgson Burnett
Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo

Indiana’s July TBR
The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune
So You Want to Talk About Race? by Ijeoma Oluo
Girl, Woman, Other by Bernardine Evaristo

Future Home of the Living God by Louise Erdrich

Pete’s June Wrap-up
So this was a hectic month, and Oathbringer was my main focus—somehow, for the first time in years, I didn’t read a single book in June. Shameful! But I’m nearing the end of a few books and should be able to read more in July.

The Shame
A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles
Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson
Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo

Pete’s July TBR
McMillan File by C. B. Samet
Future Home of the Living God by Louise Erdrich
The Freedom Artist by Ben Okri
Do You Dream of Terra-Two? By Temi Oh
