February was a great month of reading and a less than great month of book reviewing! But I’ll be changing that soon. I have a tall stack for this coming month, but I’m pretty confident I can get through all of it at the rate I’ve been reading at! I’m picking up two books that Indiana loved — The Power by Naomi Alderman and The Wizards of Once by Cressida Cowell, both of which I’m already partway through and enjoying quite a bit. Ali Smith’s Girl Meets Boy is also on tap for this month — a modern retelling of the myth of Iphis. Our book club is reading Elantris by Brandon Sanderson, which I’m of course extremely excited to finally read. I only have a few more Cosmere books to go after this! Myke Cole’s latest, The Armored Saint, is his first foray into fantasy, and I’m very hopeful for this one. And finally, I’m reading Pyramids by Terry Pratchett, my 7th Discworld book. It’s a fantasy-heavy month, and I’m looking forward to everything on my list!

Marching into spring, I’ll be delving into a few books that I’ve been meaning to read for months now. There’s An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir, which was recommended to me by family and other book bloggers. Then I finally got my hands on a copy of The Idiot by Elif Batuman, which I can’t wait to read. I’m also going to try to get more into Hillbilly Elegy by J.D. Vance. I started it a few weeks ago but I haven’t really made much headway. Then I also hope to read What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty and Anna and the Swallow Man by Gavriel Savit. Pete and I are going to be reading and reviewing The Armored Saint by Myke Cole and Elantris by Brandon Sanderson as well.
What are you looking forward to digging into this month? Let us know in the comments!
