Top Ten Tuesday: Books on our Spring TBR

Our reading lists seem to be ever growing, no matter how many we cross off. Thanks to That Artsy Reader Girl for another great Top Ten Tuesday pick.

Indiana’s Five

Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders
I’ve put this one off for far too long, especially considering I’m a Saunders fan.

Shout by Laurie Halse Anderson
She’s one of my favorite authors and I’m really anticipating this one.

The Parade by Dave Eggers
Though the reviews so far have said that this one is intensely cynical and not his best work, I’d still like to give it a try. I also need to read The Monk of Mokha. Like I said, my list always seems to be growing!

Out of Your Mind by Alan Watts
I’ve listened to a few of his speeches/lectures and enjoyed those so I’m hoping reading his works will be just as enjoyable.

Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson
I haven’t read a Sanderson book since Oathbringer came out in 2017, so I’d say I’m well overdue.

Pete’s Five

A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin
I know—it’s ridiculous that I haven’t read this one yet. I tried once before and found it too graphic… I doubt my sensitivity has changed, but we’ll see.

Perdido Street Station by China Mieville
This is one I’ve heard amazing things about, and I haven’t read Mieville since Un Lon Don when I was younger.

The Rithmatist by Brandon Sanderson
I only have a few more Sanderson novels to read before I’m all caught up, and this YA adventure sounds like a ton of fun.

Age of Myth by MIchael J. Sullivan
It’s been ages since I finished Sullivan’s Riyria Revelations series, and I’m looking forward to diving back into his world.

A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter M. Miller Jr.
This classic has been sitting on my shelf for far too long.
