Indiana’s Five

The Midnight Library by Matt Haig 
I’ve had my eye on this one for a while and seeing as it recently won the Goodreads Choice award, it’s gone up a few notches in my tbr. 

The Memory of Babel by Christelle Dabos 
I’ve been saving this one for winter. The wait has been tough but I think it’ll be worth it. 

Dragon Republic by R. F. Kuang 
The Poppy War was such an intense read and I have a feeling this sequel will be equally so. 

Breathless by Jennifer Niven 
I enjoyed one of Niven’s other works so I’m looking forward to this one. 

How to Hide an Empire: A History of the Greater United States by Daniel Immerwahr
I picked this up on a whim and was fascinated by the premise. It looks like it might take a while to get through it but winters are made for long reads, right? 

Pete’s Five

An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir
After watching Indiana’s rollercoaster of emotions as she finished the fourth book the other day, I figure it’s time I finally start this quartet.

Harrow the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir
We loved Gideon the Ninth, and somehow reading about necromancer teenagers in space just fits with winter.

The Burning God by R. F. Kuang
I don’t know how I’ve gone this long without reading this one, but I can’t wait to conclude the amazing Poppy War trilogy.

A Winter’s Promise by Christelle Dabos
Another recommendation from Indiana, the world and characters of this series sound enchanting. Plus, winter’s in the title.

The Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain
This classic has been on my TBR shelf for far too long, and I haven’t read as much Twain as I should have.
