    Bearing in mind that I was a child of the 1960’s, my five faves from childhood would be…
    Swallows and Amazons by Arthur Ransome, The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien, Anything by Enid Blyton – I cut my teeth on the Secret Seven series of books and the Famous Five, The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame and finally The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe by CS Lewis (the first of the 7 books of the Chronicles of Narnia).
