It starts!
Lit Lens is a blog about books and reading run by Indiana and Pete. We are two readers and writers who want to start an ongoing conversation about the words strung together that make up some of our favorite (and not so favorite) books. It’s a conversation that we began on the day we met and want to open up to others.
We’ll have a few reviews each week on just about any genre that we can get our hands on (except maybe bodice rippers). They’ll be succinct, usually no more than a few paragraphs.
For those who haven’t read the book, each review will offer a glimpse of what to expect. For those who have read the book, the reviews will be a way to start discussions with fellow readers.
We’ll also be sharing some of our favorite haunts to go book hunting. For every new place we’ve ever gone, we’ve staked out the best bookshops within a 20 mile radius. We haven’t been everywhere, of course, but we’ll share our findings with you nonetheless.
Every once in awhile, we’ll also post about cultural events or ideas surrounding books.
If you can’t seem to stop reading (and wouldn’t want to try), you’ve come to the right place.
If you have any review recommendations, send them our way at litlensblog@gmail.com or if you’re looking for some recommendations yourself, scroll through our reviews and find out what we’ve loved. Let us know if you loved or hated the books in the same ways we did in the comments section.
